This gift guide is probably the one I had the most fun curating. As a new mom myself, my days (and nights) can sometimes be challenging (as I’m sure they are for most moms) and it always means so much to me to receive something that honors my role as a mom and/or makes my life a little easier. From practical to pampering, I guarantee these thoughtful gift ideas will make any new mom (or mom-to-be) feel special.
- Pretty robe – for the hospital, newborn photos and lounging around the house. This one is also available in blush pink.
- Monogramed stationery – so she can send thank you notes to sweet friends and loved ones who shower her and baby with gifts.
- Beautycounter Volume Shampoo – I was not one of the lucky moms to be spared the dreaded postpartum shedding. Around 4 months after Lively’s birth, my hair started falling out in clumps. This non-toxic shampoo and conditioner has been recommend to me by so many of my mom friends who have said it’s done wonders for their postpartum hair. (Currently 15% off)
- Silhouette Necklace – I’ve been eyeing this necklace since before Lively was born. Such a sweet and thoughtful gift that any new mom would love to have.
- Slip Eye Mask – something that she could use to help her sleep deeper!
- Temperature Controlled Coffee Mug – so she doesn’t have to re-microwave her coffee 10 times every morning. This mug keeps beverages at the perfect temperature from the first sip to the last drop.
- O-Venture Key Ring – for busy moms who need an extra hand! This was featured on Oprah’s Favorite Things and came highly recommended to me by one of my mom friends.
- Amazon Alexa – another item to help mom be hands free. She can play music, get the weather, news and other information with this little virtual assistant.
- Pressing Pause Devotional – the perfect way to start her day, to refresh herself in Jesus and drink deeply of His presence so that she can pour out love, time, and energy into the people who matter most to her (under $12!).
- Smart Water Bottle – the best thing a nursing mom can do is drink more water. More water = more milk! This water bottle lights up and tells you when it’s time to drink more.
- Shipt Membership – praise God for Shipt! I ordered my groceries via the Shipt delivery service for the first 3 months after Lively was born. It was so nice to still be able to pick out my own groceries without having to leave the house. It was an absolute lifesaver and I think would be appreciated by any new mom.
- Ice Roller – no clue if this works, but I think this would be a fun pamper gift and great stocking stuffer.
- Button-down Sleepshirt – I think I wore this sleepshirt for about month straight after coming home from the hospital. Super soft and comfy and great for nursing.
- Primally Pure Dry Shampoo – because what new mom has time to wash their hair? I love this non-toxic version! (10% off with code MYCAH10)
- Comfy Slippers – slippers she can live in. these are crafted with soft wool and a rubber sole that travels both indoors and out with ease. Love that they are the perfect color of blush too.
