- The fall issue of Magnolia Journal was so good! Especially this article on why Joanna doesn’t believe that balance exists, and what it means to show up every day as her whole self.
2. Trip to the pumpkin patch: As you can see by the looks on Lively’s face she loved every minute of it! Last year I put her in her costume in hopes of getting some pictures at the pumpkin patch and that didn’t go to well. Ha! So this year I opted for this adorable pink dress with pumpkin smocking from Eyelet & Ivy. They have the best knit pieces that are perfect for little ones to play in while still maintaining that classic children’s clothing look. They’re also a great price point for being such high quality. We have gotten so much wear out of this dress the last month and will continue to rock it through Thanksgiving!
3. Quick trip to Tampa/St. Pete: Todd had to go for work and I was lucky to tag along. We hit up some of our favorite spots like Oxford Exchange (their new Champagne Bar is so beautiful), Hyde Park Village, Bartaco and I found the cutest little gluten free bakery that I visited 3 times during our stay.
4. Matching fall pj’s from Bella Bliss: We’ve both been wearing these adorable matching pj’s almost every night this month. Currently 31% off for the next 2 days!
5. Not getting sick: I picked up this natural supplement from Whole Foods when I had a scratchy throat coming on and in 48 hours I was good as new. Whatever was trying to creep in never did. This stuff is amazing and is my new secret weapon during this cold and flu season.
6. Whole30 Cauliflower Tacos: Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed this cauliflower taco recipe! Definitely worth adding to a meatless Monday rotation.
7. This Sermon: by my pastor Dean Inserra was so powerful and I haven’t stopped thinking about it all month.
8. New Goal Planner: Cultivate What Matters launched their 2020 Powersheets and the “Blooms” version I received is so beautiful in person. I’m so thankful for such a helpful resource and look forward to entering 2020 with it in hand.
9. Perfect Sweater: I got SO much use out of this sweater this past month. We’ve had a few cool days but it’s still pretty warm. This has been the perfect transition piece as it’s super soft and cashmere-like without feeling hot. I have it in “Hthr Camel” size small. Currently 30% off right now.
10. Studying Exodus: My small group and I have been studying the book of Exodus using a Jen Wilkin study (highly recommend!) and I have absolutely loved it. I read the book earlier this year following my She Reads Truth Bible in a Year Plan, but this is the first time I’ve studied the text in depth. It is such an exciting story with so much for us to learn… especially about God’s mighty power, His faithfulness and provision for His people.
