This post and gift guide is brought to you in partnership with Hearth & Soul, a place I love to shop!
In honor of Small Business Saturday, I am so excited to share with you a thoughtfully curated gift guide from one of my favorite local boutiques, Hearth & Soul. Shopping small during this time of year is not only an amazing way to help support local businesses and give back to your community, but it also ensures that you’ll be able to find some really unique and special gifts. And whenever I’m looking for something special, Hearth & Soul is the first place I go.
Hearth & Soul is a gathering place reminiscent of the home where you can relax and refresh while discovering beautiful, hand-picked treasures for yourself or someone special. With their curated collection of the most beautiful and unique items, it is my go-to destination for thoughtful gifting. Not to mention the hospitality experience at Hearth & Soul is unmatched. The moment you walk through the doors you know you’ve stumbled upon something special. You’ll be greeted by the most delightful staff (who will quickly become your friends) and are happy to help you find the perfect gift for your loved ones.
I love shopping local and supporting the incredible small businesses and families in my community, and I hope this gift guide with Hearth & Soul will inspire you to stop by this holiday season!
PS – If you see anything you’d like for yourself, you can stop by the store anytime to create an XO list – aka your own personal wishlist you can share with family and friends. 🙂
FOR THE ENTERTAINER
(Above) The Terrafirma ceramic collection is one of my favorites for gifting. Handmade in NYC, these are one-of-a-kind pieces that are perfect for serving appetizers, organizing a countertop, or displaying decorative items. You cannot go wrong with these!
Isn’t this cheese tray genius? Grab a block of Sweet Grass Dairy’s famous Thomasville Tomme cheese from Hearth & Soul’s kitchen fridge to go with it.
These marble and gold coasters would make a lovely hostess gift (and are at a great price point!).
FOR THE FOODIE
I have had a huge crush on SMEG appliances since I first laid eyes on them and was SO excited when Hearth & Soul started carrying the line earlier this year. These pieces are the perfect way to add a touch of retro charm to any kitchen. I’ve got my eye on the cream coffee pot and know my mom would adore the powder blue blender.
As a self-proclaimed foodie, one of my favorite gifts to give and receive is a beautiful cookbook. I flipped through this new one from Love & Lemons and was immediately inspired by all the delicious, plant-based recipes. A great gift by itself or pair it with an infused olive oil and truffle salt for the ultimate foodie gift.
Hearth & Soul’s kitchen boasts an abundance of amazing artisan goods. I particularly love their collection of Southern honeys that I think would be perfect paired with one of these darling bee dippers.
FOR THE BOOK LOVER
Coffee table books are a great way to bring aesthetic and literary charm into your home decor. They also make for some of the most meaningful, inspirational and beautiful gifts. For my mother-in-law’s birthday, we got her a coffee table book from Hearth & Soul about The Grove, a historic, antebellum plantation house located in Tallahassee and are planning to do a tour of the plantation as a family later this year (thank you to Serena at Hearth & Soul for this wonderful idea!).
As a former ballerina, this gorgeous coffee table book immediately caught my eye and made it’s way onto my XO list as well as the one below on Enduring Southern Homes.
I read this book by local author, Prissy Elrod, a few years ago and it’s still one of my all-time favorite memoirs. Wonderfully written and incredibly moving, I think any bibliophile would enjoy Prissy’s story.
FOR THE HOMEBODY
These Eberjey pajamas are soooo soft and comfortable. Nice pajamas are one of my go-to gifts because it’s not something you’re likely to buy for yourself. And the crochet slippers? They’re like fluffy clouds under your feet and I did not want to take them off. I think you should get a pair for your mom/mother-in-law and treat yourself to a pair too. 🙂
FOR HER
One of my favorite rooms to browse in the Hearth & Soul home is the women’s closet. There are so many beautiful pieces at a variety of price points. Here are a few things I’m loving lately…
This floral top! So fun and flattering + I can’t get enough of the pretty feminine details like the mock neckline and ties on the sleeves.
These FRAME skinny jeans are incredibly comfortable and you’re sure to get lots of compliments on these cute Free People cut-out loafers.
I have a thing for cream sweaters and this one by Vince checks all the boxes. Super soft and cozy cashmere, casual and easy-to-wear, beautifully made and would definitely be a timeless wardrobe staple.
These Chic Verte earrings are so elegant and could literally be worn with anything. The coolest part? They’re made from antlers shed by a free roaming, wild, White-Tailed Deer living within the red hills of North Florida and Southern Georgia.
(Above) I absolutely adore this feminine top by Free People. Love the bell sleeves, cotton crochet trim, and of course the fact that it’s in my favorite hue of blush pink.
(Below) I’ll admit this burnt orange top isn’t normally one I would initially grab but sweet Sam who works at Hearth & Soul encouraged me to try it on and I’m so glad she did because I LOVE it! Especially paired with these pink tassel earrings for a fun pop of color.
FOR HIM
Todd would very happily take anything out of the Hearth & Soul men’s closet! He especially loves their selection of designer denim and classic shoes. He may or may not be getting one of these True Grit fleeces for Christmas so I can steal it and wear it myself. It feels like a soft, fluffy teddy bear that you can’t help but touch and want to hug.
GIFTS UNDER $50
This is a VERY small sampling of affordable gifts Hearth & Soul has to offer. I highly encourage you to stop by the store to peruse a ton of small, thoughtful gift ideas for your co-workers, teachers and friends.
This desk calendar is so creative and beautiful!
(Above) You can never go wrong (or have enough) good dish towels. These are the most durable, absorbent ones I’ve ever used.
(Below) I think these bamboo straws are a good, practical gift & it doesn’t get much cuter than the “stay gold” dish. You could pair it with one of the delicious honeys.
Before you shop online or head out to the mall, be sure to stop by Hearth & Soul to shop small!
