Any other friends with February birthdays? Mine’s on the 19th and I’ll be 32 this year. Yay! I’m so grateful for the gift of another year to grow in wisdom and grace, cultivate a deeper relationship with Jesus, experience God’s beauty and goodness, and to love and serve His people.
My sweet mom and mother-in-law have asked what I’d like for my birthday and my answer is typically something practical. Last year I asked for a new toothbrush and this year it’s frying pans! I’ve still got my eye on a few pretty things and thought it would be fun to round them up and share them with you here. If you’re birthday shopping for someone else right now, hopefully this will give you some ideas!
- Larq Water Bottle: I first heard about this self-cleaning water bottle last year via my favorite blogger, Julia Engel, and think it’s genius. Great for those of us that forget to clean our water bottle 😬 or for someone who’s on-the-go or traveling a lot and only has access to unfiltered tap water. It uses UV-C LED light to eliminate up to 99.9999% of bio-contaminants from your water and bottle.
- Monogram Cardholder: I quit carrying my big and bulky wallet a few months ago which has made my purse lighter, but my cards have been a mess. This cardholder would be a sleek way to keep things organized and also matches my favorite year-round tote. Also found this similar version at a lower price point.
- Garden Earrings: these are so adorable and fun!
- Script Initial Ring: this went to the top of my wishlist as soon as Le Papier Studio announced their new line of rings earlier this year. I love the idea of passing it onto Lively one day. I also wouldn’t mind a stack of these beauties, including a dainty birthstone and silhouette dot ring to match my necklace that Todd got me for Mother’s Day last year.
- Organic Cotton Robe: I have a serious love for Weezie towels and have been wanting one of their robes. Perfect for right out of the shower while doing makeup and hair.
- SMEG Coffee Pot: all the heart eyes for this 50’s inspired coffee pot. Definitely paying for the looks as it doesn’t offer anything a regular coffee pot can’t do, but it sure is pretty.
- Gather at Home Book: I’ve been waiting for this book to come out! Monika Hibbs has been a huge source of inspiration to me over the years and I would love to pour over every page of this pretty lifestyle book.
- Pretty Throw Pillows: we are hoping to finish our master bedroom this year (we’ve slowly been working on it for 4 years) and I’ve been on the hunt for some floral pillows. Lots of pretty options here and here too. This photo is my inspiration.
- Pink Sneakers: Todd usually gets me a new pair of sneakers for my birthday. Workout gear is his comfort zone when it comes to shopping for me which I think is so cute. I’m typically a Nike girl but have heard great things about this brand. Not what I would typically spend hence why they’re on the wish list. I also like this pair and this pair for more affordable versions.
- Non-toxic Pans: this healthy ceramic non-stick cookware doesn’t contain any toxic chemicals + the powder blue finish is so pretty.
- Wicker Tote: a classic and timeless spring/summer tote that could be dressed up or down.

As always, we are two peas in a pod! I have been counting down for Monika’s book, too! 🙂 I got blush APLs for Christmas and they are by far the best shoes that I have ever worn. I love them SO much. I also got a weezie robe for Christmas and it’s life changing.. it sounds silly but the short sleeves are so practical it’s so comfy for getting ready. I’ll even put it on for just like 10 min in between clothes and pajamas for my skincare routine!
