I’m so excited to share the final reveal of Lively’s room at the new house! A timeless, girly space featuring delicate floral patterns, ruffles, bows and lots of pink. This has been the most fun space I’ve worked on and I couldn’t have done it without Mackenzie Page Interiors. It’s been a dream working with her and I couldn’t be more grateful for her expertise and patience with me as I hemmed and hawed over all the little details. From the wallpaper and paint colors, to fabric selections and finishing touches, you’ll find the details here…
VALANCEs & DRAPES
The pinch pleat, blackout drapes are from Pepper Home in the color “flour” and we added a blush pink banding down the side to tie in with the scallop trim on the valances. This was my first time ordering from Pepper Home and I was so impressed with the beautiful quality and amazing service. Will absolutely be ordering additional drapes for other rooms in the house!
BOWS AND FRAMES
How precious are these ceramic bows by The Little Creative Company?! It’s amazing how a small detail can make such a big impact. Brianne creates each bow by hand and they come in a variety of sizes and colors. The ones shown here are a size “small” in the color “Rose.” Be sure to sign up by email for her next release because they continue to sell out within minutes. The ribbon in between the bow and frame is from Hobby Lobby. The gold frames and vintage botanical art prints were both affordable Amazon finds.
LIGHTING & MIRROR
When deciding on some of the bigger accessories in the room, like lighting and a mirror, I turned to one of my favorite sources for home decor, Brooke and Lou. I am obsessed with everything Bria Hammel creates and knew they would have the perfect pieces to compliment this traditional space. We ultimately settled on the Fawn Mirror and Tulip Chandelier to not only play off the current floral theme, but because they will easily transition into an older/tween girl’s room (gulp, don’t even want to think about that yet!).
Bedding & Pillows
Every night when I snuggle and read books with Lively in bed, I never want to get out because her new bedding is SO comfortable. We went with the Dottie sheets, shams and duvet cover from Look Lifestyle and oh my goodness it turned out so beautiful. It’s made of 100% long staple cotton percale that just gets softer and softer with each wash. In addition to luxury bedding, Look Lifestyle also has beautiful towels, nightgowns and a popular Boobie pillow that I’m dying to try. The green floral decorative pillows on the bed are from Brooke & Lou.
Lively’s new room is like a little piece of the English countryside, simple nostalgia and a warm embrace all in one. I pray this room would also feel like a sweet and safe place for her!
