Hi there! I’ve been getting a few questions on Instagram about how I decorate my coffee table, so I thought I’d share a little insight into my best practices. The simple answer is that over time I’ve collected items that I truly love and as I’ve added them to the space everything comes together to reflect my personal style. But, there’s a bit more to it – so I wanted to share some tips that I think make for a great table. Keep scrolling for my insights and some current favorite pieces!

Layering
The more, the merrier! I love mixing different textures, colors, and things like books, vases, candles, trays—you name it. It makes the table interesting and fun. I always think of it as a little conversation starter when guests come over. Add what you love, and it’ll feel right at home.
Height
Adding different heights is a must! Low-profile pieces like trays or a stack of books help form the base, but I love bringing in something taller as well. I recommend flowers like orchids or paperwhites that stand tall but don’t take up too much room!
Items You Really Love
The best coffee tables are full of things that you really love. Take your time collecting things that make you happy each time you see them. It might not be perfect at first, but over time, it’ll come together.
Make it Seasonal
Don’t be afraid to mix in some seasonal or holiday touches. It keeps things fresh, fun, and gives you a reason to switch things up throughout the year.
