Chocolate Zucchini Bread Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 1 medium organic zucchini - sliced, steamed and frozen
  • 1-2 tbsp sunbutter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp ground organic flax seed
  • 1 serving chocolate protein powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk (optional, I typically use water but if you want it creamier use a nut or seed milk)
Instructions
  1. Wash the zucchini and slice into ¼ inch thick rounds, steam it until tender (easier to digest than raw zucchini), allow to cool before freezing. (I usually do this at the beginning of the week so I have it on hand and ready to use throughout the week)
  2. Add all the ingredients to a high-powered blender and process until smooth. Add additional water or milk to thin the mixture out until desired consistency reached.
