I know mothers-in-law can sometimes be hard to shop for, but I truly enjoy picking out gifts for mine. It may be because I hit the mother-in-law jackpot (and I’m not just saying that because she’s reading this… she really is amazing), but I have always loved selecting items that are special and classic, just like her.
From the softest and most flattering cardigan to a one-of-a-kind personalized necklace, here are my top Christmas gift ideas for moms/mothers-in-law:
- Custom Notepad: One of my favorite thoughtful gifts is custom stationary. I love this notepad that features her first initial in a floral crest.
- Monogram Slippers: Are these not the cutest?! I can’t believe they’re only $22.
- Cozy Blanket: A lavish faux-fur throw blanket finished with decadent pompoms. Great addition to her living room or bedroom décor.
- Monogram Catchall: Love this cute blush catchall! Would add a pop of color to her dresser and the perfect spot for storing her glasses.
- 100 Days to Brave Devotional: Annie Downs is one of my favorite Christian authors and this is her latest devotional. If your mother-in-law is making a major decision, dealing with a difficult transition, or facing a fear, 100 Days to Brave will give her courage and confidence to move forward.
- Sunday Morning Candle: Reminiscent of lazy Sunday mornings sifting through luscious fruits and freshly picked flowers at your local farmer’s market, this candle lets you relive that feeling with the strike of a match. Sounds heavenly!
- Birthstone Necklace: She will LOVE this! A one-of-a-kind, personalized hand stamped cascade necklace that features the birthstones of her children or grandchildren.
- Gold Frame: My mom and mother-in-law love when we gift them photos of us or Lively so this elegant gold frame would be a nice way to display new photos.
- Photo Calendar: There is no possible way you could go wrong with this because I’m pretty sure every moms favorite gift is photos of their kids/grandkids. This calendars allows you to customize each month with multiple photo layouts and colors, and you can add your special text to specific days of the year.
- Faux Fur Gloves: So chic! These would make such a fun and practical gift. Under $40 too.
- Fleece Wrap Cardigan: I got this for my mother-in-=law last Christmas and she loved it. It’s soooo soft and very flattering. Looks expensive but actually a great price point.
- Classic Leather Tote: My all-time favorite bag. Amazing quality (the leather is lightweight and seriously soft) perfect size and will never go out of style. You can also get her monogram embossed in gold. Such a nice gift!
