A Fall Classic

November 20, 2019 · In: Lifestyle, Style, Style & Beauty

You may recall seeing this Gal Meets Glam dress a few posts back in my guide to timeless fall wardrobe staples. If you are like me and want to cultivate a wardrobe that stands the test of passings fads and seasons, Gal Meets Glam dresses are a great way to do that.

From the color to the silhouette, I love everything about this dress! The style and fit are amazing, the knit material provides the perfect amount of warmth without being too hot, and it’s incredibly comfortable. Not to mention all the thoughtful feminine details like the mock neckline, puff sleeves, subtle ribbed detailing and the warm mauve hue (also comes in a pretty navy!) make this a classic I’ll continue to grab for years to come.

I’ve mostly worn the dress with classic tan loafers (old but similar here and here), but I would also pair it with brown knee high boots or a classic block heel for a more sophisticated look.

I also styled it with my favorite Cuyana tote (I get asked about this bag a lot and am working on a blog post answering the questions I receive), and a Gal Meets Glam scarf that was a lovely gift with purchase from our Narcissus event back in August. Speaking of Narcissus, if you are local and unsure of sizing or just want to try on a Gal Meets Glam dress in person, you can shop lots of styles in store. They also have a wonderful selection of sophisticated and stylish clothing, accessories, beauty, and shoes + the shopping experience is such a treat thanks to the wonderful ladies who work there.

If you’re looking for something dressier to wear for Thanksgiving, this would be a great option! Beautiful color, warm and cozy and no uncomfortable waistline. 🙂
