After walking through a season where I genuinely questioned if I would ever become a mother (you can read more about our infertility journey here and here) to now having a daughter of my own, I am overwhelmed with gratitude that I get to celebrate my second Mother’s Day in just a few short weeks. While Mother’s Day has become quite special to me personally, I’m more-so excited for the opportunity to celebrate my mom and mother-in-law. Not only do I now understand the incredible amount of love and sacrifices they’ve made as mothers, but it’s been so fun to watch them flourish in their new roles as “RéRé” and “Mimi.”
On my personal wishlist is one thing: a silhouette necklace from Le Papier Studio. I remember eyeing them when we were struggling to conceive and still haven’t forgotten about them years later. They create beautiful, heirloom quality jewelry that become precious keepsakes for years to come. All you do is upload a photo of your child’s profile to their website and they will make a custom necklace of their actual silhouette. How special is that?! Her 12 month profile is certainly worth preserving and I’d love to do that with a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry (Todd, hint hint 🙂 ) They also make charm bracelets, earrings, cufflinks, art prints and many other custom pieces that would make the most thoughtful gifts.
I’ve rounded up lots of gift ideas at various price points and hope this helps you find something special for the mother (figures) in your life!

- Silk Pillowcase: I have heard this is a game changer and it really does live up to the “anti-bedhead” claim.
- Personalized Vase: this would be such a thoughtful gift. Personalize with her initial and gift to her with her favorite flowers. She can use it as a pitcher too.
- Lipstick and Gloss: for the makeup loving mama. I love this lip sheer in “petal” and this lip gloss is really nice and not sticky. If she likes skincare, a Primally Pure starter kit makes a really nice gift.
- Blush Espadrilles: these dusty rose espadrilles would be her new favorite spring/summer shoe.

You can’t go wrong with anything made by Tricia Lowenfield. Her European folk art pieces make the most thoughtful and unique gifts. I especially love her sweet tea towels and these beautiful porcelain crosses!
