This salad recipe is adapted from one of my favorite restaurants in town, Grove Market Cafe. I order it almost every time we go and started recreating it at home a few months ago.
Refreshing orange and grapefruit supremes pair beautifully with spicy arugula, crisp cucumber, radish, delicious avocado and crunchy Go Raw sprouted sunflower seeds for the perfect “Floridian” themed salad.
To make this salad a full meal, I recommend topping it with either grilled chicken, shrimp or salmon.
I like to dress the salad with lemon juice and olive oil but I’ve also used lemon-based vinaigrettes like this one (used code HSH10 for 10% off) and this one and both are delicious and Whole30 approved!).

- 1 (7 oz) bag of organic arugula
- 1 navel orange (cut into supremes)
- 1 grapefruit (cut into supremes)
- ½ cup thinly sliced radish
- ½ seedless cucumber, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup thinly sliced green onion
- ¼ cup sprouted sunflower seeds
- 1 large avocado
- 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- Himalayan pink salt & pepper to taste
