I’m so excited to finally start sharing some of the inspiration for the rooms at our new home! First up is Lively’s room. While I loved her room at our old house, it definitely leaned more whimsical and I really wanted something more traditional for her new space. My wonderful interior designer and friend, Mackenzie Page Interiors, has been incredible at guiding me towards the right wallpapers, fabrics and accessories that feel not only sweet and feminine, but will always be timeless. Here are some of the beautiful images that inspired our plans and share some of the same design elements – soft pinks and greens, feminine florals and charming details.

OUR PLANS FOR LIVELY’S ROOM
I am absolutely giddy with where we’ve landed and am so excited it’s starting to come together!
THE WALLPAper
After deliberating between a few Colefax and Fowler wallpapers we decided on Ashling in Raspberry. I love so many things about it – the sweet floral motif, the perfect shade of rosy pink, the small repeat pattern and it’s ability to compliment so many different fabrics. Seen here in Jada Leigh‘s daughter’s room and here in blue in Born on Fifth‘s daughter’s room.
Painted trim
I think painted trim is such a fun design feature and knew I wanted to do pink in Lively’s room. You’re only five once, right?! After comparing a few options from Samplize, we landed on Camellia Pink and it could not be more perfect! It has a warm undertone which adds a lot of depth to the space, but also makes the wallpaper really pop.
A FEW SNEAK PEEKS
We are about to start on the drapes and then it’s just a few more accessories before it’s finished. Can’t wait to share more soon!
