I’m so excited to finally share our new kitchen and laundry space with you! It was a full six months of renovation, and yes, we lived here through all of it. We set up a little makeshift kitchen in the dining room with a dorm fridge, toaster, and microwave… and God bless my sweet mother-in-law for becoming our personal laundromat while we were without a washer and dryer. 🙂
Walking into this space now feels like such a gift. It’s warm and functional for our family, but with that elegant Southern style and a touch of English charm I’ve always loved. Every choice was made with intention: a layout that works for us, and details that make everyday routines feel special.
A huge thank you to Mackenzie Page Interiors for guiding me through the process and helping us get everything just right. I’m so grateful for this space, and even more excited for the memories we’ll make in it.

Main Kitchen Workspace

The cabinetry, trim, and walls are all painted in White Tie by Farrow & Ball – a soft, creamy white that feels warm and timeless throughout the space. The pendant lights were custom made through my designer and truly finish the room, adding that tailored, collected feel we wanted.
We chose honed Carrara marble countertops for their soft, natural variation and the way they age gracefully over time. The unlacquered brass hardware has already begun to develop a beautiful patina, which adds character against the creamy cabinetry. Every detail from the pendant height to the trim profiles was carefully considered with my designer to keep the space functional for everyday life yet elegant in design.
The Breakfast Nook

The built-in cabinetry was custom designed by our local cabinet maker to make the most of this cozy corner. We painted it Vert de Terre by Farrow & Ball- a soft, muted green that feels calm and grounding against the warmer tones of the adjoining kitchen. The chandelier and sconces are from Brooke & Lou, one of my favorite lighting sources, and carry that same classic, collected charm. We continued the unlacquered brass hardware here for a cohesive feel throughout the space.
The Hutch

This built-in hutch was one of my favorite additions to the space. It serves as both storage and display – perfect for layering everyday dishes with a few collected pieces. The soft curves of the design give it a furniture-like feel, while the open shelving keeps it light and welcoming. We carried the same White Tie paint color here for a seamless flow from the kitchen, and finished it with the same unlacquered brass hardware for continuity.
The Laundry Room

We carried the same classic details into the laundry room but gave it its own moment with Colefax & Fowler’s Honeysuckle wallpaper: a timeless floral that adds a touch of charm and pattern to the space. The cabinetry and trim are painted Light Blue by Farrow & Ball, a soft, airy blue that catches the natural light so beautifully. It’s a small space, but one that feels extra special now – proof that even the most practical rooms can have personality.
